I love watching a shiner or greenback getting nervous when a fish is looking at it. When they go airborne or swimming franticly, then the strike.

i have only fished a few tournaments you can count them on one hand. maybe 4. i didnt enjoy them/ id say it;s alot more fun to sit and relax with friends and catch a few rather than race around trying to win the tournament.

bass pro extreme. 20lb powerpro braid with mono backing on a quantum IM6 7'rod.
mitchell spinning reel on a 7.5' medium action graphite rod 10lb ande mono fast tip.
Tarpon 120 fishing kayak.
other various equipment.

guess its my competitive nature. I always like to make it a challenge. I didnt mean by any way one style of fishing is better than the next an so on. Just meant for me. IMO i like plastics. artificial baits. But i will agree on sipping while fishing is a mans best friend. lol..A nice almost frozen PBR or bud chugged between each cast now thats R&R
