Bait bait bait ?

i was fishing from the banks the bass were jumping a guy with a boat was in the area a little further than i could throw an he pulled up some fish on a beetle spin. I tired mimicing his style but i had no luck lol

that can be an advantage at times being in a boat fishing deeper water or just boat placement.

Cheap walmart spinners with dull hooks or is it me. I went to mosaic mines an fishes this morning got a nice bite on a walmart spinner the dollar one this fish jumps out the water it's the biggest bass at the end of my line that I've had so far I go to pick it up out the water an it just falls off !! This has been the 5th-6th time they fall off on me on a good size am I not setting hooks right?

they shake it out. Happenes to me alot. They shake like a pitbull. Sometimes i catch em and they are barely hooked to begin with. It happens.. Hooks i dont care too much about where i buy. Plastics, poles and rattle traps i go to a good store to buy em.

I felt like kicking my fiancé in the water lol just kidding but seriously I think the set up is good but the cheap hooks don't help I think
