you dont worry about someone taking ur camera?

Of course I worry about a thief stealing my camera, but it is a risk I am willing to take. I just started using one 2 seasons ago, and have not had a problem yet. I would never put it on a well hiked trail used by many hunters, and do not leave them in the woods during active hunts. Right now only the diehards are out scouting in this heat. I consider myself a diehard, and would never touch anothers equipment. Well maybe I would touch someones camera just long enough to check there SD card. I see no harm in that. Lets call it quality control.

When using a camera on a WMA I think the best thing you can do is put your camera out late Sunday afternoon and go back and retrieve it on a Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning if possible. I have the old school 35mm devices so it wouldn't be a real big loss.

The one camera I have had stolen on public land was exactly that. Put it up On Sunday morning, and went back on Friday afternoon and it was gone. It was a mile off the road. Oh, and a tropical storm also came thru that week for like three days also...
