Dam the only give out 40 quota permits and noone on here has one!.. DANGET!
That's a shame you just moved there. Before last year they had walk in permits available for each hunt for many years. It is a shame you did not show any interest until now my buddies "BIL" was looking for a guest, but has found 1 this week. He has 20 acres 10 miles north of Branford where we stay when we hunt there. It seems to me you could just hunt some of the unfenced unposted lots that are around that area. I noticed a lot of land like that in the area. It is legal to do so.

No way, tresspassing with a firearm in Fl is a felony, even if land is not posted.
Skunk Ape,Sorry, but you are wrong. You can hunt land if it is unfenced, and not posted every 500ft. Land that is agricultural like orange groves does not have to be fenced, or posted you can not hunt these places. So do not miss out on an opportunity just because you do not know the rules. If you do not believe me contact your local "LEO" like I did.
Someone owns the land. And hunting without written permission is felony tresspass, and will get you a one way ticket to the gray bar hotel
