I Drew Three Lakes Archery, I noticed they only let a certain number of permits at certain gates, Iwill be using the SR 60 Entrance. This will be my first WMA hunt And would like some advice on what to expect. The Check station opens at 5. I plan on being there at 4:30. Is that early enough, is there usually a huge line or and a mad dash for the woods or what? and advice is appreciated.
Opening weekend gets a little hecktick but you'll be fine if you get there by 5 . There's no lines like it use to be . Ive been hunting there for 14 years . Good luck
I'd imagine that some of the roads will be under water. Do you have 4x4? It's been a few years since I've been out there, but I remember some of the roads being pretty wet, and that was a year that didn't get too much rain.
yes i was out there 2 weeks ago, and it was pretty dry. But i will have the 4x4 just in case.
