Not sure where to start , although when I started hunting that is where I had my first deer encounter near the river..Are the hogs still in there or are they gone?
I have the same hunt...........
I can walk there from my house and I won't hunt that place. Be prepared for the orange invasion of dudes walking around everywhere and there guest buddy they'll have with them and about 500 over 65 exempt hunters. Best bet is to get way up a pine tree high as you can get and hope somebody scares one to you. I've tried every way imaginable in that place from wading across the river to right behind my house anf the dudes still walk up on you constantly. They do push deer around though,it's just not my style of hunting.

Find the biggest block you can find and try to get to the dead center of it. People will drive you crazy in there
