Seems like bears are all over. Need to open that season. Thought about hunting in Georgia again just for the 9 day season. :2guns
I hunted the delancy unit during quota time last year. Saw one deer, a monster bear that got up within about 10 feet of us, and saw a hog running across the road. Saw lots of sign, and the locals said you must hunt the water in order to be successful.
I have hunting up in ocala for over 35 years and there are hogs that are scatered through there but it isnt like going to green swamp. Unless ocala is your only choice i would look else where for hogs.
or unless you know someone that has hunted them up there and hook up with them.
Thanks all. Whats this green swamp I keep hearing about? I live down in Naples And am going to try it up there with another member that hasn't much experience, Where Should I go to give him the best chance? Does anybody ever bowhunt down here near naples/fort meyers area?
