My hunting buddy and i will be at Myakka sat nov 26 from early till about 12 or 1. We were thinking about camping, does anyone know how to get permission to camp down there? Anybody else going hit me up would be nice to meet some fellow hunters.

Camping is allowed at designated campsites with a State Forest Camping Use Permit from the Division of Forestry, (941) 460-1333.

I live less than a half hour from there. Lemme know when your heading out and ill let you know if ill be there.
I get signal there so I surf the forum while I'm out.
just call the number on the brochure and ask if there are any camping permits left for that night. Make sure you know where the building is located and go pick it up.
Thanks ya'll! Camping is cancelled, not enough time and too much to take care of at home, but i will be down there by 6 am, or earlier and headed south down one of the trails sparkfly.
