Anyone else going?
Last minute I bought a ML and going to sight it in tomorrow and hunt this weekend.
also after ML the small game starts.
We just bought a house and have been none stop since, but finally i can go out hunting again..
and just so happen to be 2 blocks away from the SGA on the east side (off jennings blvd.)
If anyone ever wanted to do some stalking in either seasons just ask, there is tons of area and lots of pigs to go around..
I put up a camera 2 days ago in a very close to me spot and didn't have anything during the day, but in the night a big boar is coming around.
i was thinking about heading down that way, but my hunting buddy backed out at the last minute and we usually split gas. i might be able to swing a trip down by myself, let me know what days your planning to go week/ weekend or whatever i will see if i can make it. Been wanting to get back since last year.
This will be only my second season to try this out...
I do have a 50 cal flinter I cast minie rounds for.
Havn't thought about hunting with it yet though :pinch

I'm pretty open, I work from home/for myself so i'm flexible.. Will probably do saturday and sunday this weekend forsure, granted muzzleloader shoots straight at range tomorrow.
for the small game season pretty much the same stuff.. open to go whenever, just grab the 12 gauge and go.
I busted my ass for last couple months paying for house and doing the most needed projects to get us settled in, so i'm ready to go spend some time in the woods.

I've never ever shot a ML in my life.. if it wasn't for cabelas running a blowout on a traditions and my cabelas points being enough to buy the gun plus some extras i wouldn't have thought about trying it. tomorrow the range at webb will be the test to make sure it works and i can fire it properly.
gotta TRY sometime or you would never know if it pans out or not right?? DO IT!!
