Good to get some info on Lake Marion. I'm new and that's the closest area to me. Now I won't have to waste my time going there.

Best way to find out is to get your butt out there and do some scouting!I wouldn't take anyones word as 100%.

i agree with skunk ape you may find a spot that no one else has.getting wet can be a good thing most hunters don't like getting wet and will stay away from that area

depends on how wet. If you gotta wade waist deep to get to a decent spot, it might sound like a good idea goin in until you have to figure out how to float a hog or deer out. Can anybody say innertube?
