I wonder how you guys who never get drawn for any quota's or only get them infrequently do your apps?
I usually pick an area I want and put it for all 5 of my choices. Or, I'll pick two places and do 3 of 1 and 2 of the other. Most years I have good success. Are ya'll doing different choices for each slot? Or am I just above average lucky?

I only apply for a handful of places that are close enough for me to drive up to.
I guess I'm just lucky noone else wants them...
I would have to ask that question too. Drawing a quota of some sort is not that hard. Hard to get/low quota places are a different story and usually require preference points. I apply for the same certain places every year and get them. It's the youth/family hunts and the gator hunts that drive me crazy
me its the speical opps hunts that do not come around.
I choose low hunter wma's until I get enough points to get them - if I ever put in a wma that has a lot of permits as a 2nd or 3rd choice I get it. So I don't!
