I was out in ocala this weekend, spent a decent amount of time in stand, and saw several does but no bucks following. Watched a big black bear run the other way, and had bear poop at my shanty pond campsite. Also saw a number of minks? at dusk playing around in the tops of the shortleaf pines. i think they were minks dont know what else would be a white beige, weasely lookin critter. not common in florida i dont think. Hopefully i will have better luck after thanksgiving!!!

I believe what you saw is fox squirrels. One of the most beautiful critters in Fl.
