I've got a muzzle loader hunt at Half Moon in 3 weeks and have never been but heard good things from a buddy of mine that hunted it a few years back. I'm looking to see if anyone else got this tag or has any pointers on the place. I'll be hunting with a buddy that lives about 20 min. away but neither of us will have time to scout it out until the day before the hunt. Thanks for any heads up guys.
Should be turkey shoot...........I think hunt master hunts there quit a bit.
I have been in there on a couple of hog hunts and a spring turkey hunt. I took a nice gobbler there the time I hunted. On the hog hunts I seen several but never got any shots. I liked hunting the area near the river. The whole place is nice, the areas off Potter Bend rd and also Alto road near river were good. Seen lots of sign but that was 4 - 5 years ago now.
