carry a little drop line hook and bobber with you justin case. when I was a kid we never had rods and reels and caught flounder all day long with line wrapped around a piece of wood. my uncle guisseppe would put 8 or so of these around the float/dock or bulkhead we wre fishing and attach little bells to them, then hit the vino.
its allways been that way during the off season.. but during hunting season thats pretty new.
