Anybody goin to Chazz during season I know some great spots for deer and some hogs
Hi , I got the muzzle loader quota hunt , this year a friend of mine got 2 hogs out of there last year, and knows a couple of spots... but the more the better,
From what ive learned today scouting in chazz. Hog spots one year most likely wont be there the next year. I had a good spot with a HUGE wallow and tons of rooting and so on. Went there today and it ws all over grown, the wallow was dry with tall weeds growing in it. and not a hog print anywhere it was so overgrown unless you knew there was a wallow there last year you would never know this year.
Deer yea they sometimes come back to a rub and re use it is they didnt get shot.
yea thats very true, it seems the hogs come in waves and if you aren't in the stand they will be gone in three days. my mom has 2 acers that border chazz so i get alot of scouting done. my spots are nice because there is a long wide strip of swamp that borders the north end of glenn lakes. on the west side of that swamp is southgrade. i hunt the east side of that swamp and during season the guys push the game thourgh that swamp right into my lap. but that swamp is way to thick for people to get thourgh, so unless they want to walk the 5 or 6 miles around the other end my area sees less hunters. i saw 2 guys all of last season. SO let me know when you guys want in on the action and we'll hunt
