ATV's are allowed on a lot of WMA's in South Florida as well as airboats and swamp buggies. You have to understand that a lot of those places are under water, and stay that way all year long. Therefore those are the only means of access. Hunting down there is a different world than up this way

They do allow atv's but my rhino is considered a buggy by the park service. I've heard 4 wheelers are on their way out in the park but not sure if it's true.

Some of the areas are designated trail only and some are dispersed trail. There are quite a few pine heads between the wet areas but i would never consider walking in all the mud. Where I hunted was about 11 miles back and the main trails are all under water/mud for the most part.
