Not much to tell really. About 6 or so years ago the day before spring turkey me and buddy since you cannot drive in their though we drink a few cold ones and take the long drive. We drove to the far west gate by the highway. I use to have all the gate combos for all the WMAs so figured we would just exit their instead of driving all the way back on those bumpy roads. Well got to the gate and my buddy said that he's been driving down the road lately and something is dead over on the side and maybe it is a big hog with teeth or something. So we walked over to the edge of the highway where the buzzards were and their he was. His head they told me was cut off. I forgot the name of the guy but he was murdered. The cops ask me are you sure it is a human remains and not some deer or hog.
I tolf them that out of all my years hunting and fishing I have never come across a deer or hog running in the woods or dead wearing blue jens and white tee shirt.

i have no problem with thick stuff i like it i was curious about the deer population it looks like a nice place and close too
The deer population is good a lot of big bucks in there.My buddy bagged a 7 point and two 8 points two years ago the biggest was 174#. The place is poached pretty good as it backs up to farmington.
On the plus side almost everyone who boarders the property has feeders. But if they see you on the fence line they will start plinking there 22 to scare all the game off. It is still one of the better WMA only allowing 40 people but with the buddy system allowing 80 it wont be that good for long.
even with 80 people you have to share the bag limit so same amount of deer being tagged but thanks for the info im gonna give it a shot i don't need to hog hunt out there but ill stick 1 if it comes in range i know a woman who owns 2.5 acres off Maytown rd and she said i can hunt hogs there she sees them every day
