Got mine for GA, issued 10 doe tags and 2 buck tags and didn't even have to apply for them! Life is good!

Is that the tags that come with a year license or do that many come with a 3-day? Do you still have to get a hunting license and a big-game permit?

Not to mention it sounds like people are printing that record card over and over again... :nono

That's what you get with a GA hunting license, resident or non resident and as long as you follow the Northern and Southern zone dates, it's game on from 22 Oct -15 Jan. This includes most every WMA, Federal Reserve, State Property and Private Land. Very very very few WMA's have any "special requirements", definately nothing like in FL....

On Georgia's DNR License page, they don't show just a hunting license for non-residents. Used to you had to buy the hunting license and the big game license to hunt deer. So I guess non-res now have to buy one of the combo hunting/fishing licenses and a big-game license. So a 3-day licenses costs $110 total, and annual costs $295. If you hunt a GA WMA, a non-res will need a $73 annual license, no 3-day option. Plus some counties have different antler restrictions.

Yep, that's all correct, difference is there's a Northern and Southern Zone and not a mismatch of rules and regs every 20 Square miles across the state with seperate and all to interesting WMA rules and regs... FL is a joke when it comes to this!
