Be careful with the true MRE's like in the photo above. They are meant to be used in the field under strenuous, taxing, heavy work load conditions. They are very high calorie meals. 1 per day max. You'll blow up fast if you eat them regularly and aren't burning the calories off.
The latest version ones are pretty dang good actually. They've come a long way with them.
