Hey allen. picked up the same food saver sealer you got (the stainless steel upright one) freakin was using it and tried to seal a piece of semi frozen meat.. a piece of hard meat got caught in between where it presses and snapped something inside it.. lol.. gotta exchange it monday.. sucks.. lol

I had one, and the last time I saw it was airborne as I threw it out in the creek in the back yard.
I do it all in one step: Chunk the meat up(1/2 frozen) in cubes,add seasoning, hand mix in a cooler..Then grind and feed into the casings all at same time
Just dos not sound consistent. also seam cheese and maple syrup would be a problem that way.
