There's your first mistake. You're not supposed to read the instructions until you've absolutely and totally messed everything up. (And completely pissed off your wife after making an absolute mess of the kitchen.)

Where's your sense of adventure? PCB would do it. I know he would. Then again, he'd probably take it up in his hunting condo with the a/c, heat, indoor plumbing, and electric so that he'd have it right there handy for on the spot processing.

One tip Ive found to get a better seal. Once you put your meat in the bag, put it in the freezer for a little while to sorta gel up before you seal it. Just seems like you get a better vacuum doing that
