Greeting,

I will be moving into Jefferson County in January. Next week starts the Spring Turkey Permit process with FWC.
I know nothing of the area and need some guidance which WMA to apply for. A few years back, Lake Tracy WMA was good for me and very light hunting pressure, just 5 per hunt. Anything like that in the panhandle?

Any thought on non-permit turkey or deer hunts in the area would be good.

I have a lease in Jefferson co. Aucilla is up that way and has a good amount of birds

Ive never hunted up there at all but you do have Apalachacola WMA which is just over 500,000 acres. Probably plenty of room out there
