ok green swamp says bearded turkey or gobblers only. Can someone explain the difference? I know the bearded part but whats the difference in a gobbler? Also they stay open till 9pm to scout can you use a spot light to scout and can you carry your gun as long as you dont shoot except for self defense? Last question walmart doesnt seem to have #2 buck shot do I need to go to gun shop or bill jacksons?
Just means it has to be a jake(bearded)male (tom/gobbler) a beard hen because some will have beards.
A bearded turkey could be a bearded hen so a bearded turkey does not have to mean a gobbler just that it has a beard and it is legal. Hope this helps.
