Can turkey tags or license be gotten over the counter for some wmu's or are all tags a drawl or need preference points.
I would like to plan a trip this season

To be legal to turkey hunt WMA's, you need a hunting license, WMA stamp and a $5 turkey stamp
The drawing for spring turkey quota permits is done in October.
However, if you go to myfwc.com, there is a list of WMA's that do not require a quota permit

Being a out of stater the turkey stamp is over a hundred bucks but unlike some other states our state will let you buy a 10 day license
So for about 180 bucks that's for a license, Mangt Stamp and Turkey Stamp or so you can hunt on public land and harvest two birds.
180 bucks is ok , If you do it your self , it the out fitters I cant afford lol
please dont get me wrong outfitters are a great help to a out of state guy but i just cant afford there help
it's a 126 bucks here for out of state hunters but that's you hole lic for the year deer,small game spring and fall turkey.
