pretty sure I got my 1st oceola this am right at fly down, (no white edges anywhere along wing tips) damn field had at least 6 toms all fly down even after I shot one, at least a dozen birds altogether and more on the way. mine was 21 lbs 8+" beard and spurs just over an inch. got some pics but can only figure out how to send the last one taken on phone and only to a e-mail address will get it figured out eventualy ( when wife gets home, or other form of help). 1 more to go. not sure how much longer my back can hold up, it's killin me now but got all done and breast filet'd and in fridge. most of feathers and blood cleaned up from house.

Awesome bird! looks like a few of us are haveing a good turkey season. Every tom i have have heard this week gobbling non stop from before flydown till 10ish am, especially if they are with hens.
