I got cuts/scratches thorns and splinters all over my body, wife thinks I went to an S and M party, coughing/sneezing/watery eyes/runny nose from the pollen, tired from getting up at 4am and traipsing through the woods, having to crawl through briar's under gates/fences, no bird to show for it. but a good opening weekend, saw and got close to birds each time out (unfortunately mostly hens and young Jake's), birds were much more vocal today, held off on a few too long shots. could have shot one if I sat on the trunk of my car, they are flying down right in front of where I park lol. gotta love it. can't wait to get back out at em again. that full moon was great for walking in wasn't it?
