Every trip to Lowes is at least 50.00 this fort is turning into a pork barrel spending fiasco. Way over budget,not finished on time, and I'm in to deep to quit or scrap it. It would make somebody a great 5 man shooting house.

You better have a skid loader and a big trailer. Puting the finishing touches on it tommorow. Man I wish I had a place to actually build a nice box blind,seems I never stay in a placer long enough to justify the work and cost.Got nice sliding plexiglass windows,and very roomy.
Anyway,I had a peacock strutting around in my yard trying to breed my guinea fowl. It was funny shit.,That peacock has been around here for as long as I lived here,I use to set my turkey decoy up and he'd strut for that also.That would make a great video.
Gotta learn to build em so you can put em together in sections, like an erector set. Platform, 4 walls, a roof and windows. All separate parts ya bolt together. Using punched angle brackets to attach the walls to each other and to the floor and roof, and it's just a matter of a bunch a wing nuts with some 1/4" bolts to attach it to the platform.
