If I'm hunting more than 100yds from a road I'll stage my game cart in the bushes in my area. Even if I shoot something and it hauls azz into the boonies my game cart isn't all the way back at the truck. Bungie it to the cart and away we go! Treestand, gun, animal and all.........

So most use game carts, anyone have any specific brands or kinds they use and why ?
Anyone know of any that hook to a bike?
I recently bought that cabela's game cart that was on sale and the only thing I've used it for YET is the 2-man ladder stand (assembled in 2 pieces, big and ackward) and it kept tipping over on roots/branches etc. hopefully an animal will carry better/easier. in snow or sand a plastic tobagan works great. when young dumb and full of "energy" I would shoot first and worry about it later. after some very hard drags with help and no cart or anything I got older/wiser.
a cart would be the best option... it depends on where you actually kill it tho... I decided to go against my better judgement and shoot a 250lbs boar in the middle of BFE.. (only cause i walked up on him a little over 15 yards away and never heard or saw him til last second)... The first time you drag a beast like that through rowed pines you'll never do it again... deer drag will work but something with wheels would be so much easier and you don't burn as many calories as you'd be getting.
