Ok
I believe the year was 1999. opening day of archery Tiger Bay (then only 10 thousand acres power lines were the boundary) The log book for that day showed 318 hunters logged in. That's 31 acres approximately per hunter. After archery the deer are almost none existent during the day. There are nice deer there but there some of the most crafty. There just like the deer that live in subdivisions they know what going on.
My cousin lives 5 minutes from there....and drives to N Fla and GA to hunt, if that tells ya anything
Yes your cousin has more money than we do.
I have no idea Ted. I didn't ask him to show me his portfolio. He lives in Deland and told me "it sucks" in his words.
If your hunting Georgia you have more money than i can afford. For me Georgia hunting would cost 500- 700 a month. gas lease and licence. gas alone would be 400-500. 8 mpg
I have not taken a buck out of tiger bay i hunt there maybe once a season. last year saw a buck rub a palmetto then a bear and her cub. Took a friend once and to go after a 10 i been seeing he ended up getting it that week end. Never see a man so happy and giddy. Dam it definitely meant more to him than it would of ever meant to me.
If you want a deer in tiger bay you really need to hunt early. You should be finding scrapes right about now in tiger bay.
