Ok. Gotta get some advice. Out at my archery range at the in-laws today, and 2 doe come out and block the target. No big deal. Deer season's over here. Then, 20 mins later 5 little 10lb pigs come out followed by 3 more. The sow stayed back in the woods and wouldn't come out. What's the best way to catch these little critters so I can fatten up for bacon?

I thought about the cast net, but I think it'd pretty much ruin any chance of using it for bait netting after that. Then there's the issue with dealing with a pissed off mama. Don't wanna drop her, cus she's knocked up with another litter, and I have plans for the next set of piggys too.

I like your castnet idea. You would have to use a mullet net, because a bait net would get ripped to fast. I do think it would work...

Dig a real narrow trench, no wider than one of the pigs, that slopes down from ground level to about 2feet deep, make it about 8 feet long. Put some corn or other goodies down in the deep end and lay a good trail up and out of the trench. They'll eat down into the trench and won't be able to turn around, and they can't walk backwards. Then just reach down and snatch them little pork sliders right out of the trench and into a pen!

Make one big enough you might get mamma pig, too!
