I dropped of the meat at my butcher today and the bone out weight was 68 pounds. Minus the damaged front shoulder and a piece of back strap I ate. So I guess my estimated weight was off a little. I know a deer is about a third of the walking weight when boned, is it the same with a hog? I nevered realty payed much attention till now with hogs.
Just looking at pics, I would guess 200#. I know fat hogs will look a lot bigger than they are
We killed a Barr hog a few years ago that we thought was over 300#. He pulled the scales at 175
