kemster, Is that considered privet land? This sprig/summer I got some friend's coming in from Texas and might want to take him on a hunt like this. And do you think this could be a shotgun hunt or would you recommend a rifle?
Were the hogs free ranging or was this in a preserve?
It's private land, the owners trap hogs on other land and release them into a fenced area. You drive around and pretty much shoot what ever you happen to stumble on.

yep, private property. shotgun will work, would recommend slugs though, buckshot with dogs around, that arn't your dogs, slugs would work best.

hogs are in a 400 acre "pen" with hammocks and saw grass terrain. use the dogs to find them and bay them up.
