Myself and some co-workers went down to Rockhill hunting preserve for a swamp buggy hog hunt. Was not sure what to expect, ended up being pretty fun. wasn't "hunting" but was fun. these guys' dogs really worked hard. was a good time just watching the dogs work. Five of us ended up going and all 5 of us ended up getting some good hogs. My buddy's daughter had never hunted and she ended up getting a nice sow. I won the biggest hog pool. $$$ lol. all in all it was a good day, and wouldn't mind doing it again, but it will in no way replace the spot and stalk hunting. lol
looks good
any pics of the buggy? is that the H&R you used? do you generaly shoot from the buggy or run after the dogs?
Sweet pile of pork you all got. :toast
hogdaddy-- it was $175.00 per person, cleaning and quartering included.
Nacho-- waiting on some more pics.. forgot to take a pic of the buggy. Yep, i used my H&R 270. 4 of the 5 hogs were shot from the buggy. had to go into some thick stuff for 1. dogs had it bayed and the hog wouldn't break and run.
