need a guide

all over. I go every fall. Last five years its been manitoba, maine, maine, ontario, maine in that order. I'm in northern maine every year either hunting,fishing, or relaxing. we would be there right now if i could find some resemblance of work there.

In maine the woods are so thick that you have to use bait for bears. The guys that run dogs for bears there have to start them on bait barrels most of the time. If you hunt with outfitters i can give ya some good ones. If your a DIY with your own dogs, 90% of the land up there is owned by the timber companies like plum creek. They are open to the public. I've never hunted bears with dogs but i hear it's a blast. Just not my cup of tea.
