:jarhead Looking for Signs

I plan on doing some scouting for signs of hogs in the next few days. Since I am new to all of this what should I be looking for and what type of terrain do hogs like best to live in.
Thanks for any help.

Cut marks on trees about waist high and lower, along with mud rubs on trees are tell tail signs of a travel area

FWC's site tells you where the best area to find them is. If I recall and from my short amount of experience palmetto shrubs is where they hangout at.

look for the spots in the middle of the woods that look like a roto-tiller has been through

Just like deer find the food. Then find the trails to it.
