I see on page 39 that feral hogs are a problem and that trapping has been implemented. I'd be more than willing to take care of some hogs for them. 😉 I also can not figure out where hunting is allowed on that conservation area.

I often drive out to 528 / airport and Hal Scott Preserve area and see turkey and sign of hog rooting. I'd love to get access to land out there. close enough to home that I'd actually be able to get out and hunt even during the week.

It's confusing and I believe they've done that intentionally so no one hunts there, if you know what I mean...

Hey I got onto google maps and found a spot south of split oak forest mitigation park and east of East Lake Tohopekaliga. It is a big open spot above Lake Myrtle. The nearest road marker looks like 417 southeast of 417 at Lake Nona. Hopefully that pinpointed it. Can't find anything on who it belongs to maybe you can find it Trip, with that software?

chs1908, that's not a bad spot. I will check it in the morning and get back to you.

A friend of mine says he sees lotta hog on some private land out by Hal State Park. I've been looking at the land East of Fred S Griffis Rd Orlando, FL 32831. I only think it might be good cause its west of the Park and there seems to be plenty of cover and water there. Then again I have never looked for land other than looking at WMA or outfitters. 😉
