The whole issue with Richloam is this,,,,, still hunters have just as much right to hunt there as anyone else, however it is a designated dog hunt area, therefore if you kill something from a tree it was more than likely due to the dogs on the ground,indirectly or not. Dog hunters cannot go to green swamp or the baird unit and run dogs, so we are limited to richloam, and we have an understanding among us that if we kill game not pushed by our dogs we offer up half the meat to the group who was pushing said game, however still hunters generally (not all) come in shoot, load the deer and leave as fast as possible. Several times in the past we've had still hunters beat our dogs off a kill, my dogs should atleast see,smell,and taste what they were running, whether meat is divvied up or not. We have several still hunters in the few blocks we run, we see them every weekend and they've killed a bunch of deer off of us, they let us see it, our dogs smell it, and they go on about thier business.
