Well, having hunted a few subdivisions here in the Tampa area....guns are a no-no. You'll get your permission pulled quick, if not in trouble for discharging a firearm in city limits. We find ourselves with a caught hog practically in people's backyards sometimes.

They are all a joke.

I agree. The show is a joke. I watched about 15 minutes of one. That's enough.

Ok then if you cant discharge a firearm than why not use a bow? Or get a good catch dog then knife em.
Or do they consider a bow a firearm or a dedly missle.
To much red tape for me.

We run rough cur dogs mainly. We either knife them or tie them with hobbles or muletape. My buddy has a cat x pit that hits hard, but she isn't a "catchdog." But I sure like her, she catches and her eyes roll back in her head like she's rabid and she can get slung around anywhere and will stay anchored until you make her break loose.

I am sure there is a lot of red tape that they have to go through. But man like stated above there is a lot of drama and whats with the big hoop ear rings in texas. It is tv and tv is for entertainment purposes. When I watched it we laughed through the whole thing. I was at my moms and there was a non hog hunter there ( friend of the family )and he was amazed and liked it. Entertainment only my thinking would be are these nuckle heads going to get hurt but I guess you have to learn some time.
