Yeah the 200# sow in Hawaii, may have been 80 pounds. Possibly could have been 90, but not anywhere close to the 200 they were saying.
Hell they had it on a snare rope and were scared to tackle the thing
I still can't figure out the hog dogs with the Texas bunch. Thats 2 shows now where they are looking at hogs and the dogs can't find them. I'd be looking for a pack of dogs myself
From what I've heard and understand, the hog doggers on the show are all fairly new to dogging and recently bought dogs and whatnot because of this show opportunity. The Texas folk were running a great dane and freaked out when he got a little poke in the one episode.
Did anyone see the one episode where the Florida boys walk up on a big ole boar hog standing in the trees, walk back out and grab the "catch dog" and walk back to the hog (which is still in the same spot) and cut the dog loose? The bulldog maybe tried the hog once then just bayed it and they try to talk it into catching then they are like "she knows it's too big for her" blah blah.....I don't know anyone who would have brought a "catchdog" out of the woods with them after a display like that.

I watched that episode when it was on a few weeks ago. I watched it again the other night. Did anyone notice there were 5 gallon buckets right there close to the hog when they grabbed it? Probably baited and stuck in a bear trap that you couldn't see! Makes me mad watching that show cause them hogs are nowhere near the size the narrator says they are. Too much hype!
