Don't put out oil or diesel on lease ground or WMA, if they catch you the clean up will break the bank.

You can use vegtable though, fry up some onions and taters and dump that ont he ground. You wont believe what shows up.

I have three trails on my property where I see majority of deer and hog tracks so I'm going to try three different methods.

On one I'm going to try the stinky corn method by mixing a paint can full of that stuff and hang it up in the tree about 7 or 8 feet off the ground. I'll pour some on the ground below it too.

On the second trail I'm going to install two PVC gravity feeders to trees. I have some doubts about this one as I expect a decent size pig will just pull it off the tree and walk off with it.

On the last trail is a decent size clearing so I'm going to put in two hog sticks there about 20 feet apart.

One last question is where to get corn. I've only purchased one bag of corn before and that was few months ago. I found a large bag of corn at Walmart in the pet department and that's what I have been using but I have not seem those corns since at any Walmart store. Where do you guys get your corn? Is there any particular brand or type I should get?

As Iluv2hunt mentioned, you can get it at any feed store. Depending on where you live and where you drive to hunt, you want to do a search as the price if different depending the location. As an example, Remington feed in Riverview, which is 2 miles from my house, sells the 40 lbs. bag at for $13. When I drive north to my lease I can get the 40 pound bag at Gander Mountain in Ocala for $9.00, $9.50 at WalMart in Lake City or a 50 lbs bag for $10.00 in White Springs. Doesn’t look like much, but when you buy 3-4 bags a month it can add up. Some people buy bulk corn, but I never done it so I can’t tell if that is a good deal or not.
