Goodoyster, did you get my pm?

Got a PM from you, but it was just a quote of my post. There wasn't any questions or anything for me to reply about! Would still appreciate a PM with your phone number, where you live, etc. so I can keep things straight and figure out who rides with who, etc.

For the question above about why it was not a meat hog. The difference will be the size of there cutters which are there bottom teeth. It takes them a while to grow teeth that big just like it takes a mature deer to grow big antlers. I will post more on this so that every one is clear when I can get to a computer hopefully later today. On my phone right now. It is important to know and understand the difference.

So you charge by the size of the teeth,,, :wacko
I've killed 380lb boars with very little "cutters" and i've killed 100lb boars with 2 1/2" cutters..

Give the guy a chance to post the criteria for difference between meat and trophy hogs. If you don't like them, you are always free to hunt somewhere else. But it's their business, their rules. As long as they are clear and upfront about it, why give them a hard time?

WHen you are doing GUIDED HUNTS. Any reputable outfitter will charge you a trophy fee. Some people want to hunt for a wall hanger trophy hog. Others want to hunt for meat, Hence the reason for saving the big cutter hogs for the trophy hunts.

When you go on a guided deer hunt, the guide will tell you what deer to shoot, If you mis judge and shoot a bigger buck you might be owing that guide thousands more then you paid for your hunt.

Comon guys this is one of our sponsors and he's a good guy and honest. You aren't going to get a "quality outfitter" like M & D outfitters for any cheaper then he's giving! This is not just a guy taking you on a hog hunt. Its an outfitter.
