It was my boy's b'day the 22nd of Mar and I took him out of preschool early and asked him if he wanted to fish or hunt. He said he wanted to hunt. so I took my bow and he had his and we went out to a buddy's place and we began to hunt. What was cool the first thing we saw when we got there was a jake so I got my box cutter out and started calling he hung around for awhile then we sort of stalked him for a while (as much as you can stalk a turkey) but we had a great time. Now I know where I'm gonna get my bird. the only thing is he only lets me use a bow.Its gonna be tough.
Nah...just set up a ground blind. Shotgun range for a bird is still in bow range. Just need to use a turkey terror or some other broadhead for thunder chickens. Just avoid the Guilatine blades, cus them suckers break on impact, and you can't target shoot with em, and they never hit the same place twice. Them things are all over the place.
