Yes and I did not go. Was great the first few dog hunts,now just so so. I honestly just can't afford the gas anymore.

I don't even think you need a permit,just carry a kid with you.

I got the same impression but I still get wary about hunting with out a permit. I don't know the area well at all but we will see what we can do. The big plan is to have fun and see if we can't come out with some meat.

I will be up there next weekend. Not hunting, but doing work around the house and what not. (My camp is about 10 minutes from the S end of the WMA)
