I've seen 'em drop with 1 shot and and I've seen 'em run with multiple. Hell I've seen grown men shot and keep going when they shouldn't and others that make you scratch your head wondering what happened to them. All the same dead at 1' is the same as dead at 50'. If you can't kill an average hog at 15' with a pistol you might need to re-evaluate some things.

as we've all seen even with big calibers,(example ballistic tips) bullets do strange things sometimes. a shot from a 380 into hard bone, like in a skull(depending on the angle) has a good chance of deflecting, not penetrating or doing enough damage to stop one, and not just with a 380. I think placing it behind the ear into softer tissue in the brainstem area like you usualy seem to do would work better. and bullet selection would have a lot to do with it. but wtf, I'll still be interested in seeing pics. got any particular bullet in mind?

Thats what I wa saying. A bullet to the skull head on has a very good chance of deflecting on a hog. I've seen it happen before. Personally
