You paying $100 each time you go out there, or until you shoot one?
It was $100 the first time, and since i really didnt get anything and gave an honest effort now it's more of an "if you get a hog, then pay me". I always try to throw him afew bucks to have me on his property.
Where is this place?
(please disregard my question if its improper to ask such question)
It's pretty much 275 and 50. Really good place with tons of hog traffic, I recommend it just not when i'm there, I tend to be a hog repellent.
in the daytime heat and humidity you are gonna be giving off scent like nobody's bussiness no matter how carefull you are. concentrate on working the wind better and look where everyone has been saying.
another hogless day tuesday. Im starting to think it's my scent. The fella whos land im hunting on said I had a strange smell both times, tired to figure out what it could be and I think it's the dryer sheets walmart sells that are supposed to eliminate odor. Gonna try again tomorrow and see what I can nab before I go bonkers.
Go to a vitamin store or GNC type place and get chlorophyll pills. It sounds like a snake oil gimmick, but I believe they work. They are an internal deodorizer, actually patients on colostomy bags take them to kill odor. I took them last year and had less deer bust me than in years past. Starting Sept 1, I will be taking them again
night time is the best time right now.....
Is this the guy who's always advertising on Craigslist in Ridge Manor? I'd imagine the hogs are pretty shot up by now, they are not a dumb animal. You can only shoot so many hogs off of a feeder with a gun before they wise up. They probably know when you step on the property and when you leave. Where exactly is this place at? I live at 75 and 50'
