another hogless day tuesday. Im starting to think it's my scent. The fella whos land im hunting on said I had a strange smell both times, tired to figure out what it could be and I think it's the dryer sheets walmart sells that are supposed to eliminate odor. Gonna try again tomorrow and see what I can nab before I go bonkers.

It's like a 100 degrees out! Hogs are laid up in the shade, under palmettos, in the tickest, most cool, shaded areas, in the deep swamps, waldered out in mud holes, and won't likely be cruising until the temperatures drop in the evening and all night long... You'd have a better chance of shooting a deer with these temperatures during our summers in FL than a hog.

How much water are you drinking to stay alive out there all day long? The skeeters are probably eating you alive. I'd personally wait until around October before I started back after them, when it's a bit cooler out!

When I head out there Tuesday about 4PM and it had been raining for afew hours prior, It was actually very pleasant out, rain cooled it down alot and still had very good cloud cover the rest of the day.

Now I have this problem that the first time I ever went hog huntin was about a month ago, since then all I can think about is huntin hogs, so weather really isnt an issue, its that I cant seem to nail one at dawn, day, dusk, night.
