I never seen a debate in it,never had a problem with any type of hog dog, just don't understand the part of a silent dog. I mean if it weren't for tracking collars and GPS collars how do you know where your dogs are?

silent meaning they trail silent , they dont bark on the trail, they only bark once they get the hog stopped.....

well, ok i get what your saying now, i guess the main reason for having a silent trail dog is for me is most of the land i have permission to hunt is 100 acres here 180 acers there maybe as small as 50 acre orange groves spread all over polk and hardee co. , so you want your dog to get right up close to that hog so the hog has less of a head start and your dog has more of a chance to stop him right there or the race is very short and you dont have to go get your dogs off someones land.
