Oh your hunting wild cows. You need a Fl ringneck cur,I didn't think there were to many wild cows left in the woods anymore like there use to be. I love listening to the stories told by the old Cracker Cowboys and cow hunters.I new a guy that passed away a few years ago that was raised by a cow hunter way back.
I have a buddy that lease the cattle rights from half moon. Not really hunting, gathering is more like it. We run 1200 head on 20,000 acres. Sometimes there hard to find.
Look on bay dog they aways have curs for cows on there.I seen a bulldog catch a big cow once, last thing it ever caught.
Yes I am from central fla( little town called Lorida) originally and this is the type cow dogs we used . We would work cows all day and hog hunt at night with the same dogs. We used this type dog to trail and find cattle in the Avon Park bombing Range that some big country also. I can try to get abetter pic of these pups and send you one in an email. The puppies are in north fla. 35 miles west of gaimesville. in a little town called Fanning Springs .
