I am azz deep in dogs, I wanted another cur but can't afford anymore feed. All my young hounds are promising so I can't thin them out yet.
do you think these dogs will work cattle?
Try an Australian cattle dog "heeler", them are some of the toughest, hard working dogs for cows I've ever seen. They can take the heat, cold, water, and are fearless.
Na, they wouldnt work, I need dogs that will hunt them down in the swamps and hold them. sometimes they will trial in and find them over a mile away. These cows are like hogs, wild and rank. It take a special dog. The dogs I feed are rank but not too rank, alot of hunt and never quit.
