Went out Saturday for hogs.
Just at light i hear rustling turn look, i see the hog it sees me. I was up in a tree stand the hog was off my right side i was directly between the hog and moon. I must of stood out against the brightness of the moon.
Saw two bob cats heard hogs could never see them in the tall grass. I did however get a rabbit. My buddy was surprised i shoot a rabbit with a 50 cal Bp. He said there wont be any thing left. Nope i shoot it like it was a deer right Through the head broad side easy shoot 35 yard.
Don't want to waste any meat.
Then we stopped to fish caught 6 pan fish my buddy went after bass and caught 3 nice ones. So we did come home with surf and turf but the wife said let go get Chinese????????????????
Oh yea the turkeys were going off for hours and hours
sounds like a good time
as they say "the worst day in the woods is better......" way to go.
It was a great day. The only way to make it better is to camp and had to do it over on day two.
